All three readings this weekend speak of peace. Peace is a beautiful thing and at the same time it is so vulnerable. In the Gospel, 72 disciples are sent out by Jesus to proclaim peace. It is Christ himself who gives peace and who protects his disciples from the forces of evil. At this time when we gather, let us pray for peace, especially for those who suffer from war.
