The feast of Epiphany: the sages, the kings, the magicians come from far away to honour a child. How could they know, what we know, that this Child would become the saviour of the world? For them it was written in the stars. For us it is a matter of faith.
Do we dare believe that the little that God creates in our world will fundamentally change our world? A vulnerable and powerless child is what God sets against tyrants and superpowers of our world to turn people’s hearts to love. Does our heart go with the child and the wise, or do we bow before the powerful of our world?
