This weekend, the Church celebrates Corpus Christi. The celebration of the Eucharist remains a wonderful event, in which we can both dwell with God in silence and praise and thank Him together. No matter how difficult our lives may be, there are always reasons to be grateful to Him. In our daily prayer, we can become aware of this all the time. In the celebration of the Eucharist we express our gratitude together, and we can also each present our personal desires before God, for this life and for the hereafter. That is why the sacrament of the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life.
