Zomercollecte voor kinderen in asielzoekerscentra. Met de komende vakantieperiode voor de deur, wil de diaconale werkgroep Aloysius stilstaan bij de mensen die niet op vakantie kunnen en dan met name kinderen. Daarvoor organiseren we van 21 juni tot en met 31 juli een zomercollecte en vragen wij om uw gulle gift. De collecte is ten bate van Stichting de Vrolijkheid. Al meer dan 18 jaar organiseert deze stichting kunstzinnige en creatieve activiteiten voor, met en door kinderen en jongeren in asielzoekerscentra in Nederland. Samen spelen en ontdekken staan centraal en geven de kinderen en jongeren de kans om hun verhaal creatief vorm te geven om zo hun zelfvertrouwen en talenten te ontwikkelen en hun ervaringen te kunnen verwerken. Om ze weer even gewoon ‘kind’ te laten zijn.
Summer collection for children in refugee centres. For the upcoming holiday period, the social work group Aloysius of this church asks you to reflect on those in our city who are not able to take a holiday. This is especially true for children in refugee centres.
For them we organise a special collection from 21 June till 31 Juli and kindly ask for your generous contribution. The funds will go to the NGO Stichting de Vrolijkheid (‘Happiness’) who has been organising creative workshops for, with and by children and youths in Dutch refugee centres (azc’s) for the last 18 years. Playing together in a creative and safe environment help the children to build confidence, learn new skills and deal with their experiences. It gives them the opportunity to get away from the day to day situation and be a child again.
