Marriage, the covenant of love and fidelity between a man and a woman, has been elevated to sacrament in the Catholic Church. It is thus an external sign of God’s love and faithfulness to mankind.
The sacrament of marriage is administered to each other by the spouses through their ‘yes’ word.
This happens in the church, in the presence of a priest or deacon, as a church witness, and in the presence of witnesses who have been invited by the marriages.
A wedding celebration is a church celebration, which can be embedded in the celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Mass).
Bride couples who wish to have their marriage in the Krijtberg blessed are requested to fill in the form below and send it to us. After receipt, one of the priests will contact you to make arrangements regarding the wedding date and the preparatory talks.
If the marriage partners wish to have their marriage in the Krijtberg blessed by their own priest or deacon, it is necessary to make timely arrangements with the rector or his deputy.
If you would like to call on the Krijtberg to prepare your marriage, which you would like to have blessed elsewhere, please fill in the application form so that one of the priests can contact you for further appointments.
