Marriage, the covenant of love and fidelity between a man and a woman, is a sacrament in the Catholic Church. The wedding takes place in the church, in the presence of a priest or deacon, and in the presence of witnesses who have been invited by the marriages. A wedding celebration is a church celebration, which – when both bride and groom are Catholics, – can be embedded in the celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Mass).
Couples who wish to have their marriage in the Krijtberg blessed are requested to fill in the form below.
If the marriage partners wish to have their marriage in the Krijtberg blessed by their own priest or deacon, this is also possible.
De Krijtberg does NOT prepare couples for weddings abroad – this is possible however in the Church at Keizersgracht, where Father R. Ojeda offers “marriage courses” two or three times a year – make sure to register in time. His address: rector [at]
