INTRODUCTION TO THE CATHOLIC FAITH 2026 – 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each year people come to the Krijtberg and ask to be received into the Roman Catholic Church. We are happy to welcome these applicants: it is an enrichment for us. Evey year at Easter around ten to twelve persons are received into the Catholic Church.\u00a0Some of these people were never baptised. Others were baptised as children – and they want to deepen their faith. All are welcome, also Catholics who were out of touch with the church for a few years, but who would like to rediscover the tradition were their parents came from.<\/p>\n

We organize a course of around twenty Tuesday evenings, starting the 13th<\/sup> of October 2026 up to the 20th<\/sup> of April 2027. Easter is quite early, March 28, 2027.<\/p>\n

During this half year we come together every week (with a break at Christmas) to share information, share faith journeys and discover what being a Catholic means. Who is Jesus Christ, can you learn to pray, what happens during Mass?\u00a0 We share with each other how we read the Bible, what the Our Father means, and what is the rosary? There is ample room for questions.<\/p>\n

This course can also be followed by people who want to know more about the Catholic Faith, without wanting to become Catholic themselves.<\/p>\n

If a person wants to join the catholic Church and is accepted,<\/strong> he or she receives the Sacrament of Baptism. People who have been baptised already in another Church are usually not baptised again, but they may receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.<\/p>\n

One can register now for the Faith Course 2026 \u2013 2027. Please contact Father Jan Stuyt SJ by using the form below. <\/em>(He is absent August 5 \u2013 23).<\/p>\n

The course will only take place when at least six persons have signed up.<\/strong> There is no fixed price – small donations may be asked for coffee, tea and printed handouts \u2013 never exceeding the amount of 4 \u20ac per evening.<\/p>\n
