Every first Thursday evening of the month, the Krijtberg celebrates the “First Friday Eve”, a holy hour in preparation for “The First Friday of the Month,” dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
We celebrate a sung Mass in English, followed by Eucharistic adoration with the opportunity for confession. A deputation of the Magis Choir will enrich the celebration with some songs.
The increase of participants in this new initiative is most encouraging. The last time, on January 1st, some forty persons were present. In this way too, we want to radiate Christ’s love for all in the big city of Amsterdam, in which that love is often so little felt. So please come and pray with us, for God’s greater glory and for the well-being of our fellow citizens and the people of all the world!
Everyone is welcome! It starts at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m.
