2nd Sunday of Lent

Some encounters, some events are such wonderful moments in life. We would like to stay in it, dwell in a glory that never passes. But they are gone so quickly. That makes us sad. Jesus lets his disciples experience such a wonderful moment at the top of the mountain: the transformation on Tabor. But He immediately descends with his disciples down the mountain again, back to normal life. What does He want to teach us with this? Does life imply a lot of misery and only occasionally a happy moment? Or can we experience the glory of God in our daily lives? Count the stars in the sky, says God to Abram, you will find so much happiness.
